Original Lodge Consecration summons returned to the Lodge

Following an out of the Blue telephone call from a Liverpool Mason, we were put in touch with a lady whose late husband was a Mason, but who sadly passed away about a year ago. He evidently collected Masonic items he would find in Charity shops, and one such item turned out to be an original silk summons from the Consecration meeting in 1913.

Eddie Parry collected the summons, along with a letter it apparently came with, written by a nurse in the Great War, who had cared for a Bro Curr, and she was writing to advise the family that he had passed away.

We will investigate whether he was a member of the Lodge, once the Social Distancing measures have been lifted.
